Montreal, December 12th 2025/ Ascension Foundation and Excellence Sportive Estrie · Centre-du-Québec (ESS) are joining forces to provide enhanced support to three athletes from the Estrie region. 

Boxer Kiana Marcil and mountain biker Catryana Marcotte will receive financial assistance and personalized support from Ascension Foundation, in addition to exclusive discounts and complimentary services offered by the Foundation’s partner companies. This collaboration reflects both organizations’ shared commitment to supporting high-level athletes. The name of the third athlete will be announced shortly.

“I am originally from Sherbrooke, where I also completed my studies, and this partnership has special meaning for me,” says Sophie Bouchard, CEO of Ascension Foundation. “From our very first discussions with the ESS team, I felt we shared the same respect and dedication toward athletes. We are truly excited to support Kiana and Catryana in the pursuit of their dreams.”

By becoming an official collaborator of ESS, Ascension Foundation joins a network of more than 150 companies committed to supporting athletes in the Estrie region. Two organizations, one goal: to provide Kiana, Catryana, and the third athlete with the best possible conditions so they can focus solely on their training and performance.
